Student talent gets distinction award

MAMMALcreate say a big Well Done! to one of our City of Bristol College students.

Lecturer, Alastair Myers, curates a broad and exciting design course at CoBC and when he invited MAMMALcreate to supervise and support students in their final Professional Brief we jumped at the chance.

One young talent we gave direction to and encouraged was Kieran Hawes, a Bristol designer who has been awarded distinction in the Young Contenders category at the 2021 Transform – magazine European Awards.

Keiran says: As an industry we have a huge responsibility to be more accessible to new blood, fresh talent. After all, university isn’t for everyone. That’s why I’ll always fight the corner for those on atypical pathways into the creative sector.

MAMMALcreate endorse this view and work hard to encourage and develop new talent like Kieran, whenever we are able.
