Peer praise at The House of Lords
Now MAMMALcreate’s design for this ground-breaking research has helped the report reach the House of Lords.
World Horse Welfare, who funded the research, say “In a recent debate on equine welfare in the House of Lords, peers praised the role of the veterinary profession in maintaining high equine welfare standards and the importance of the sector research, using as an example the University of Bristol report …Horses in Our Hands.”
With the horse industry contributing around £8 billion to the economy and employing more than 200,000 people, no wonder this report created interest and commendation in the House of Lords.
